    Hi there,

for this you would set the field to be shown if the required field is not empty of the value field left blank.

    Thanks for replying.

I’m afraid I’ve read your reply 4 times now, and still can’t understand it, sorry!

I’ve got the option to hide/show a field if the related field “is” or “is not” a value – but how do I say “empty”?

    Hello hippyjim,

I had found out, use “” for empty.
Seems that David is busy ?? But he makes a great plugin.

I had asked an question as well on the forum but… still waiting for answer ??

But for you, if you use “” that is empty.

    greetings

    Hi David,

Applying conditional logic is still a mystery.

I just need only two select box with country & their states

On first select box when I choose a country, their respective state list display on second select box.

Can you please help me on this?

    Thanks

@op – just leaving the value blank indcates no value or empty.

@zmannz – I currently dont have conditional population of field type although this is in the works. For now you’ll have to have a “states” dropdown for each country and show depending on which country is selected.

    Hi David,

I have the exact same need as zmannz. The form I am trying to build is a class attendance marking form.

I need to conditionally populate a checklist of students (custom post) based on the dropdown selection of school and classroom (custom taxonomy).

I just bought easy pods thinking the query builder would support that.
    Apparently not/not yet.

Just want to say that Caldera Forms rocks and i switched from gravity forms due to the tight integration with the pods framework and superb form elements that comes with it.

I noticed that setting conditions for taxonomies does not allow me to specify the variable. It always turns out blank.

I can do the above mentioned for posts but not for taxonomies.

Is that a bug or a work n progress?

It will be great if that feature is fixed or added.

Hi David, Could you please help me understand how we may use Conditional Fail using a Date field?

I want to show a message using Conditional Fail, if a date field is not greater than 1 more than today’s date.

    Thanks a ton, in advance.

Would be great if this answer “Conditional Fail using a Date field?” would be published.
