If you need to edit the content of the blog page with Elementor, install this plugin. Nothing else. You will find no settings page Just activate the plugin.

  • I use GeneratePress Premium theme and Elementor Pro page builder. I downloaded the plugin, yet when I opened the Blog archive Page, the only edit option was to ‘Edit Page’.

I opened the ‘edit page’ and at the top, yet the button ‘edit with Elementor’ was not present.

Perhaps GP premium is one of the themes that does not work with this plugin.

Also, The blog page is set to ‘theme’. Does this need to be changed to Default theme or Elementor Full Width for this plugin to work?

    Thanks!

    Hi @ranefox

I didn’t test it with GeneratePress Premium.

Maybe you only miss the link to edit with Elementor. I suggest you:

    – Edit the page without Elementor
    – Replace in the URL &action=edit with &action=elementor

When you edit the blog page in the backend without Elementor you will have something that looks like https://your-site.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3344&action=edit

In the example 3344 is the ID of the blog page, in your case, you will have another number. Just replace “edit” with “elementor”. If it works it was only a missing link in the backed. In that case, I will try to add it when it misses as in your case.
