How to use apostrophe in FROM name

    Hi there,

    Apostrophes in the FROM name (eg. John’s) get changed to John\'s (not sure if that will be escaped or not to see)

    How can I get the apostrophe output correct so that email recipients don’t see strange characters?

    Thanks for reaching out. Apostrophes should work fine. Could you please let me know if you see john\’s in the From Name field in WP Mail SMTP after saving the settings or do you see that in the email while configuring a specific mailer?

    Thank you very much for your response. I just re-saved the settings, and the apostrophe now works correctly! Strange, I didn’t change the FROM name either. When I saved the settings the first time, I was seeing \’s in the FROM field in the settings, but now it’s showing just the apostrophe, and also correctly showing the apostrophe in the email in my inbox.
