how to use and test while using a "coming soon" plugin

I’m developing a site and using a “coming soon” plugin to keep it away from prying eyes until it’s ready to go. Unfortunately, when I try to make jetpack and woocommerce jetpack work (for testing) under cover like this, they won’t work. ?? Any suggestions to get around this? Thanks!
