How to use a subfolder as a condition?
-
Hi,
For SEO reasons, I run my website and its blog on the same subdomain. However, I would like my blog to have its own navigation (and layout), so the visitors will clearly know when they are on the main website and when they are on the blog.
Concerning the menus, I want to have different menu buttons in my primary navigation for the blog vs. the website. There are pages that are specific only to the blog (about page, blog archives, some categories, etc.) and most pages are specific only to the website part.
I would like to know if it would be possible to add a condition in the functionalities of If Menu in order to have an entire subfolder as a condition. The subfolder, in my case, would be https://www.my-site.com/blog. I would like a specific series of menu buttons to display when I am wherever (pages, posts, categories pages, etc.) inside that ../blog subfolder. Hence, the location in a specific subfolder of the element (page, post, etc.) in the url structure should be the condition set in If Menu.
I use submenu buttons (supported by Nimble of Elegantthemes, that I use for this website), which may cause additional difficulty.
If you could help me on this, it would be wonderful.
