  • I would suggest finding the template you want to use before worrying about the header. If you fix the header now, you’ll just have to do it again after you switch templates.

    Okay, will do. Is it a different process for every template, or would your advice be from a sizing perspective? Is there something to look for when finding a template to accomodate a custom header?

    The process is similar for different templates. It’s just a matter of changing some of the code. If you already have your image and it needs to be a certain width, you might want to find a theme with a similar width.

    You might be able to find a theme that was built with the ability to change header images without getting into the code, but usually you have to do it manually.
