How to upload XML Files (new to wordpress)

  • Hello, I have made the .xml and .xsd files into .zip files and have been able to directly drop and drag the files into the browser WordPress, but if i look at the files before in the HTML code side all the files are .xml or .xsd files but they have been added to the Media Gallery as .zip files can anyone help with my problem? Thanks alot.

    if your xml file related to wordpress archive and you need to import them as post , you must use wordpress importer plugin
