how to update the label of an application form fields

    There are first name, middle name, last name in the application form field for the name of the candidate/applicant. I want to change the label of first name field as Name of the candidate.

    How to edit just the label of the field not the name and id of that field as the entire site is working on jobapp_first_name.

    Please help me with this I need it on an urgent basis. The client has asked to change the label. If I change/add new field I have to rework in the entire application

    Hi Sania,

    Thanks for writing to us.

    The default mechanism works on the label as if the label is First Name then the id will be jobapp_first_name. If you will chane the label the Id will also get changed.

    The previous applications will not get affected, the new applications will come with the label name.

    @saadali2905 , thanks for the reply. But Just wanted to know can we change the label or id of a field used in application form without changing the field name in the database as I have already used database field name as first name , middle name and last name for applied jobs, admit cards , call letters and many other templates.

    Hi Sania.

    The database field will be changed as well, otherwise there will be mis match errors.

    But I am unable to change the application form details also. I want to uncheck “required” for 2 of my fields but I cant do it.

    Hi Sania,

    Kindly edit the job from “JobBoard” > “All Jobs”.

    There you will find the application form fields and unchecked option as well.

    Unchecked the fields and update the job.

    Hey @saadali2905 , I am doing from there only. But unfortunately, only the data type of the fields is getting updated and not the “required” checkbox.

    secondly, the fields re-arrangement using drag and drop is also not working
