• I am trying to update a wordpress site and on the left sidebar there is a list of event dates( but it is not a plug-in). It must have been built into the site template because it shows up on every page by default.

I just dont know where to access the content for that text because it is not a post and is not accessible on any individual page to edit. Which makes sense because I wouldnt want to update the text on 20 pages. There must be a centralized place to edit this. It is not a plug in or a widget.

    Any Ideas?

Also- the link to the homepage logo is broken and its broken on every page so I am assuming I would fix that in the same place as the text list.

is there a special place in the dashboard with a centralized template that you can access/edit content which is referenced by every page in the site?

    thanks a lot

  • The sidebars are usually controlled by the sidebar.php file, but it depends on the theme.

If you are using a free theme, post a link to your site here and someone may be able to help. If you are using a paid theme, you should contact the theme supplier.
