    Hi,

I used to use a separate plugin for webp images and have now switched to the function within LiteSpeed, which has worked so far.

I continue to use the plugin Enable Media Replace, which also worked with the previous webp plugin, but unfortunately the replaced images are no longer displayed with LiteSpeed, neither on the page nor in the media library.

How can such replaced images be updated?

check the file system , see if the replaced file is there ?

sometimes ago I tested with this replacement plugin as well , it did work on my test though.

    Hi @qtwrk,

thanks for your answer, but I have been using the plugin for a long time and it has worked without any problems so far, also with the mentioned plugin “Enable Media Replace” – it always took a while here until the images were converted, but after 1-2 minutes everything was typically done.

But since the use of LiteSpeed, the replace no longer works.

Do you have a recommendation for a replacement plugin that works together with LiteSpeed?

from what I tested , the image is actually replaced , the main image

but some of the thumbnails are still same and being loaded when you visit media page

you can see the main file name is still ScreenShot2022-04-12 16.43.41 , but the thumbnail was not cleaned up , this is done with LSCWP disabled

I found a solution in the support forum of “Enable Media Replace”:
    https://help.shortpixel.com/article/158-in-enable-media-replace-the-image-isnt-replaced-why

    This option does the trick.
