    Since the update, I can not access any of the left hand navigation menu. The entire black toolbar on the left is blank, with no links except one for my profile.

    I am running Portfolio Press several plugins and I think the problem may be related to those.

    I have tried the whole ftp to rename the plugin folder, logout, log back in thing. I cleared my caches and made sure I have the most recent version of Java. I still can’t even see the links to any of the items (pages, posts, etc) that should be in that left hand menu.

  • Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    It almost sounds like the permissions of your account might be messed up. If you’re only seeing your profile, that usually indicates your role is a Subscriber inside WordPress.
