How to update my published plugin in the WP repository

    About 18 months ago I developed a very simple WP plugin, submitted it, received approval, and uploaded it to the WP plugin repository (I don’t remember exactly the steps to do that, just that I researched and figured it out). I have a new version ready to go. How, exactly, do I go about it? Do I need to resubmit for approval? I googled – found lots of info on submitting a new plugin but not on a version update. Could someone please point me to a step-by-step, plain-English guide? Much appreciation in advance.
