Sorry for the probably very dumb question, but how would I update the standard policy page created by Complianz? I can’t find any setting.

    Thank you!

    Hi @cutu234,

The document is updated based on your changes in the Complianz Wizard, but I assume that your question concerns manually editing the text.

This can be done by setting the document to ‘unsync & edit’ mode: https://complianz.io/editing-legal-documents/

Note that as this converts the shortcode to HTML content that can be freely edited, it prevents the Wizard from updating the document dynamically.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    H Jarno,

I actually meant the automatic synch. I was probably not patient enough. I’ve just found out that the page was indeed updated.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi!

I has this problem. I’m using the shortcode and the text isn’t be updated since november of 2020. My plugin is update and is free version.

    Thanks for your help.

    Laura.

    Hi @pavo,

If your question concerns the “document last updated on [date]” text, it will change after making any significant change within the Complianz Wizard. For example, by enabling another service under Complianz -> Wizard -> Consent -> Services > “Select the types of third-party services you use on your site“.

Or instead, if your question concerns the “last synchronized with CookieDatabase on [date]” sentence, you can run a new Sync with CookieDatabase under Complianz -> Wizard -> Consent -> Cookie Descriptions and the date will change accordingly.

    Kind regards, Jarno
