How to uninstall a framework

    Having installed the Thesis framework, I now want to completely uninstall it. But I can’t work out how (I’m a newbie). Can anyone give me step-by-step instructions?

  • Switch to a different heme…. that’s the short answer.

    Once you activate a new theme, you can delete Thesis.

    Now that does not take into account any ‘additionals’ that may come with Thesis.

    I’m not familiar with Thesis, so I’m not aware if it establishes any shortcodes that you rely on, or custom post types, or taxonomies or anything.

    If it does, you would need to look into how to get those back by registering your own.
