How to unblock a users IP

    Hi Team,

    A user has been blocked whilst trying to log in to our site and has requested for his ip address to be unblocked. How is this done?

    WP version 6.2.2 Theme twenty twenty

  • WordPress core has no feature to track or block/unblock IP addresses.

    What tool are you using to provide such security on your login page? (Could be a security plugin, your host, or an external security provider.)

    The dev who set up the site originally installed NinjaFirewall but I can’t find anything in the settings relating to this issue. That said the user in question is now able to log in successfully again so it’s not a problem. Until of course it happens again. BTW, thanks for your prompt response George

    That’s correct, because NinjaFirewall doesn’t block IP addresses it has no IP address or user blacklist. Maybe there’s another security application server side.

    probabilmente avrai un plugin come Wordfence Security?che blocca temporaneamente gli ip dei visitatori ad esempio se provano ad accedere alla pagina di admin oppure se sbagliano più volte la password e tali blocchi possono essere di minuti, ore, giorni, settimane controlla tra i vari plugin installati a volte è presente anche lato server<font _mstmutation=”1″></font>
