How to tweak php files to increase slider images

  • Hello…

    I am using theme Catch Base 1.2.1 (child created)and do want to increase the number of images in the Home pages.

    Can Anyone tell me how to increase the number of slider images at the home pages…I tried tweaking catchbase-featured-slider.php within inc but failed (please see the screenshot here)

    @samchat: To increase the number of images in in the slider, you need to go to “Appearance => Customize => Featured Slider Options => Featured Slider Type”. Then you need to select “Featured Page Slider” in select slider type. This will replace your default demo slider in theme.

    Once, you select “Featured Page Slider”, you will see option to change “No of Slides” where default value will be 4 you can increase that to any amount that you like up to 20. Then after you change the number you need to save and publish and then again go to “Appearance => Customize => Featured Slider Options => Featured Slider Type”, then you can just select the page in respective Featured Page # 1, Featured Page # 2, Featured Page # 3, Featured Page # 4, Featured Page # 5 and so on.

    Note: this slider take the Page Featured Image, so don’t forget to add featured images in your page.
