How to turn off the login on comments

  • Hi,

    I’m brand new to wordpress. And I’m having problems to know where I turn off the login comments. On my blog (www.primeiromilhao.com) people have to log on to leave a comment. What can I do to leave a comment form below my posts instead the login link?

  • Options -> General.

    Under Membership, uncheck “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”

    Is that what you’re after?

    Another question. I can see the form right now but all the comments says that are waiting for moderation. How do I turnoff it?

    PS: I know sometimes awnser this kind of question can be a pain in the a** but I just got into the blog world. As all newbies I’ll bother a little bit. ??

    Especially for “newbies” it is always a good idea to study a bit the admin panels and subpanels of the tool (WP) you are using.
    Like clicking on the Options > Discussion etc.

    I’m doing that too. But as you can see english is not my first language so sometimes I can be a little tricky to learn how WP works.

    I am not the best person to get impressed by the complaints about the language ??
    English is not my first language either – it’s my 4th.

    I just check it out your profile and… whatta a coincidence. you live in winterpeg, ops winnipeg… hehehe I lived there for a while. Do you teach @ UofM? Cause I took classes when I was there living abroad. I miss a lot the winnipeg freezing winter and the Wise Guys on Campus @ UofM…
