• Two issues. They might be in Inkblot rather than Webcomic itself, but I figured I’d ask here.

    1) When reading the comic archives on mobile, swiping to the right or left will navigate to the next page. This keeps activating when people are just trying to zoom or scroll on the current strip, and makes it a pain to read. I want to turn it off, but I can’t for the life of me find the option.

    2) The footer has a string of what appears to be automatically-generated text (“? 2015–2018 Leif & Thorn ? Powered by WordPress with Inkblot”). I want to edit it so there’s also a mention of the hosting provider. Can’t find that option either.

    Help?

Hey @sailorptah, apologies for the slow response.

1 –?You should be able to turn this off by unchecking Touch gestures in the Webcomic section of the customizer. If that doesn’t work, you can also try opening up wp-content/themes/inkblot/webcomic/display.php and removing the data-webcomic-gestures attribute from the post-webcomic div (should be line 10, near the top).

2 – You should be able to drop a Text Widget into the Site Footer sidebar to replace the default text with whatever you like. Alternatively, you can open up wp-content/themes/inkblot/footer.php and replace lines 15–19 (should start with printf(…) to replace the default footer text.

1 – I can’t find “Touch gestures” anywhere in the customizer. I took screenshots of all the Webcomic-related option panels, and this is how they look:

Is this a glitch, or am I missing something?

2 – Got it! In future releases, it would be cool if “by default this section has basic copyright information, which will be superceded by anything you put here” was explained on that part of the widgets page.
