    Hi,

We’re using this plugin only to sync product sets as we integrated events and pixel through Google Tag Manager. Right now our pixel is firing twice per each event since we have Google Tag Manager and this plugin. How can we turn off events firing through this plugin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @antoniocerneli ,

I understand you want to disable certain events from Facebook for WooCommerce extension as you are using a separate plugin to fire those events.

Out of the box, there is no default way to disable specific events. You will most likely need to use custom code for this.

I do not have an exact suggestion but this article seems to have an example of how to limit events for user roles and you can get an idea to implement a similar solution in your case.

I’ll keep this thread open for a little longer to see if anyone else can chime in to share any other hints.

We have our developer resources portal that can help you get going, so I would recommend you to check it further from here: https://developer.woocommerce.com/

You can also visit the WooCommerce Community Forum, the WooCommerce FB group, or the #developers channel of our Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, too.

Another option is to check our customizations page to hire an expert that can create a custom solution for you: https://woocommerce.com/experts/

    Thank you.
