Hello,

After troubleshooting and extensive testing WP Event Calendar – Large Calendar mode is incompatible with A2 optimizer / Wt3 Cache plugin. The HTML Minify active causes the events to duplicate and duplicate and duplicate on mouse over.

The JS and CSS Minify are fine. It is just when HTML Minify is active.

It is the same error as described here…

WT3 says that it is the writing of the TEC html code that is causing the problem upon minification.

Any ideas what it might be in the html that is setting it off? Or is it the javascript interaction?

If A2 Optimizer allowed for select pages to be ignore by WT3 like WT3 does then I could turn it off and fix the page. Is this possible?

With WP Multisite you need to use the WT3 setting in the Network Domain Root. There you can access Performance Advanced Settings….

As to WT3 and TEC incompatibility his solved it for us ….

1. Go to the Performance > Minify page in your site or root site if you use WP Multisite

2. Add “events/*” to the ….. Never minify the following pages:

3. Add all the TEC JS files to the Never minify the following JS files:

/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/js/tribe-events.min.js?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/resources/js/tribe-events-pro.min.js?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/js/tribe-events-bar.min.js?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/resources/js/tribe-events-ajax-maps.min.js?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/resources/js/widget-this-week.min.js?3dca3c

4. Add all the TEC JS files to the Never minify the following JS files:

/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/css/tribe-events-full.min.css?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/css/tribe-events-theme.min.css?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/css/tribe-events-theme-mobile.min.css?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/resources/css/tribe-events-pro-full.min.css?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/resources/css/tribe-events-pro-theme.min.css?3dca3c
/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/resources/css/tribe-events-pro-full-mobile.min.css?3dca3c

5. Save the page.

6. Clear all the caches. If you use WP Multisite you need to clear the caches at the root level and at any subfolder site that uses TEC.

Maybe this will help others as we spent a month on trying get this solved. ??
