how to translate hallofcostumes theme to hungarian

  • HI guys,

    I have a blog by using hallofcostumes theme in english and i now want to convert the same blog with the same theme into hungarian blog, i donno wether this theme can be used to acheive that. I am very specific about this theme because i have made a lot of changes so that it looks the way i wanted my blog to be so using some other theme will need more effort to make the changes to make it look the same way again, so please help me out to how and what needs to be done to make this work for hungarian ASAP

  • Your theme doesn’t contain the blog content nor the administration section of WordPress. I think you want the Hungarian localization of WordPress: https://word-press.hu/ ?

    Tnx for the quick reply,

    do you mean that if i want a hungarian(any other langauge) blog it dosent dependent on what theme you use , instead we need to take the particular language installation file and install it to get the things work on that particular language.

    But i donno the other languages, i know english and will it not be difficult for me to do things which have the language that i donno.

    please correct me if i am wrong.

    The changes you made to your exisiting theme are in CSS and HTML, and those will “translate” to a Hungarian version of WordPress. CSS and HTML might be English, but that doesn’t matter to a Hungarian version of WordPress.

    If you want your posts and pages to be in Hungarian – as well as the WordPress editing and administration panels – then use a version of WordPress localized in Hungarian.

    You could use the English localization of WordPress and still write posts in Hungarian, but you’d have to figure out how to get the accents on characters with your keyboard on whatever PC or Mac you’re using, but they would work, becuase WordPress is Unicode aware.
