How to translate front page

  • Hi,

    I have successfully translated all pages of the website using the Polylang plugin, but I was not able to translate the front page.

    I see in the string translations tab some strings from the front page, but the translations do not appear on the page.

    I saw several threads with similar topic, but none of them was useful.

    Could somebody please help to understand, how to translate the front page?

  • Just add a new site in the language widget on the original page’s edit screen. The strings are meta tags, not page content. Someome may want to confirm that but I believe it is so.
