  • I have just done it,
create the .mo file and paste into /wp-content/languages/themes/
    and call it mythemeshop-(lang code).mo
    this works for me

mythemeshop is the theme’s name which appears in chains

    Does not work for me.
I seems that this Theme does not handle translation.

Don’t make simple things complex. ??

    1. Install plugin CodeStyling Localization.

    2. Go to Localization -> Create new language for the theme Point, Scan and start translating.

    3. After translation click on Generate .mo.

That’s all. I have just finished its translation into Russian without any problems.

Does not work either. Unable to scan theme, I get this:

Error: The actual loaded translation content does not match the textdomain: mythemeshop
Expect, that any text you translate will not occure as long as the textdomain is mismatching!
This is a coding issue at the source files you try to translate, please contact the original Author and explain this mismatch.

I did it yesterday without a single issue. Translated more than 200 messages. Hope you wi?l make this too. ??

After editing default.po one also needs to save it in the respective language coding.
