How to transfer the main site's category and tag to wide site category and tag?

  • how to transfer the main site’s category and tag to wide site category and tag?

    I want to have two functions:

    1\ let wordpress mult have a wide blog category. when the user register a new blog site, he can choose the category which his blog site belong to;

    2\ set some special post categorys and tags of the main blog use for the wide site. when other bloger submit his post, he can choose his post belong to the wide categorys and tags as while as the its own category and tag. for example:

    the main site has the cateory:
    cate１
    cate２
    cate３
    cate４

    tag:
    tag1
    tag2
    tag3
    tag4
    tag5

    we can set：
    cate３、cate４ as the wide site categorys，tag2、tag5 as the wide site tag

    so, other blogers can choose cate３、cate４ and tag2、tag5 as his post’s category ang tag when he post his blog.

    There aren’t sitewide categories. That is, you cannot create categories for all sites with WP anymore. Ditto tags.

    You CAN use Blog Topics. Allows users to categorize blogs by topic. Includes multiple optional widgets and optional sample theme code.

    1\I installed blog-topics, but i don’t know how to use ,still in study,
    2\the wpmu-new-blog-defaults just for blog, not for each post.

    Andrea_r,I use thewpmu-new-blog-defaults,i found this plugin push each blog’s category to the main blog ,includ the category which created not in wpmu-new-blog-defaults.
    I want set main blog’s category or tag can celect in subblog when subbloger sub article, and subblog’s category and tags can select only in its own back-end.
