How to transfer SQL Database?

  • Hi guys,
    I’ve just bought a new host, to move my wordpress website. I have backed up my database, and installed wordpress on the new server – copying over my images and themes.

    How do I move over my old database? It’s not simply a case of uploading the file, and I can’t see anything in my sql control panel to actually – replace – a database.

    Any help appreciated!
