• Fantastic plugin. Saved our bacon! Now that we have a successfully launched landing page for our webinar in GoToWebinar, how can we track the registration click in google analytics? Since the form is imported from another site, and not created in wordpress, we’re not getting the data. Has anyone come up with this issue?

    Hi Debbie,

This is an interesting idea. To make sure I understand, you would like the actual click of the “register” button to be logged in your GA account? I’m assuming the page or post that holds the shortcode is tracked by GA when the page or post loads – correct?

But in addition to the page or post registering with GA you also want each click of the register button to be logged as well?

Please let me know if that assessment is correct and we can progress from there.

    Thanks!

Thank you so much for your response! I would like each click of the register button to be logged in GA. We are having difficulty in recording an event landing page that imports the contact form from GoToWebinar. The visit to the landing page is showing, but not that a user took action, hence my request.
    Many thanks

One way to help this without having code passed back in the code of the form is to set up a funnel with the landing page as the first step and the thank you page as the second step. You can then see how many people fell out of the registration process.
