How to trace which snippet gives errors?

  • Hi, recently I found some warnings in my PHP log coming from one of the snippet. But it was difficult to track from which one as in the warning message there’s no argument, value or something else I could search in snippets. Maybe you can advice some other methods?
    Also I noticed some other plugins (e.g. WPCode) have a feature to record errors thrown by particular snippet, haven’t you thought about implementing similar feature?

    We’ve definitely attempted to do that sort of thing in the past, but it’s proven quite tricky to modify the PHP fatal error messages in that way.

    We’ll continue to look for solutions to ease the debugging process – always open to suggestions where technically feasible.
