I have installed the plugin and understand – more or less – how the different “sections” or pages of it works – it’s well made and rather intuitive!

However, I’m having a problem understanding how to “work” with the registration and login. Obviously, I understand that users would have to register before they can log-in.

That being said, it seems incorrect to “add” all “sections” or pages created by UM as shown in the following link:

Once users have registered, I’d like them to be redirected to the “HOME” page. This I have managed to set up.
However, when a user first comes to the site, he should see only the REGISTER button, I believe – or maybe also the LOGIN button to make it easier for both users who need to register and users who have registered?
To me it makes sense to add the LOGOUT option under ACCOUNT – but the ACCOUT button should only be seen when a user has already registered and logged in, obviously.

So my problem is, how do I secure that users see what they “need”?
New users see only REGISTRATION – or alternatively REGISTRATION along with LOGIN for existing users?
It’s only when you’re logged in that you can see your ACCOUNT and decide to LOGOUT?

MANY thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi @flophouse,

You can setup visibility settings for the menu items which allows you to display different items in your site’s menus depending on who is viewing the site. For example, you can show different menu items to logged in and logged out users, as well as showing menu items only to certain member roles.

Please go to the Appearance -> Menus and under the menu item you will see “Ultimate member menu settings”

    Regards.

Thank you for your fast reply – highly appreciated!

Once I’m logged into my WP dashboard, I click APPEARANCE and the MENUS. However, I don’t see the “Ultimate member menu settings”. Am I look the wrong place? This is what I see:

I’m sure the plugin has been installed correctly since it asks whether I want to install the extensions at the top of the page. Is this needed in order to find the mentioned settings?
