I installed Polylang, but I have several problems:

    1. “HOME” is not a page and I don’t know how to make alternate content
    2. Permalinks are broken somehow: “HOME” is not in “domain.com/” but in “domain.com/us/” or “/cs/”. I fixed this temporarily by checking “Hide URL language information for default language”, but I wanna use subdomain “cs.domain.com” or “domain.com/en/” or “/cs/” because of SEO purposes
    3. e-shop is not working in alternate (not main) language

    1. Use shortcodes of polylang to translate the homepage:

    2. Yes you can have sub domain and install the theme separately 2 times with 2 WordPress installs.
    3. use WooCommerce it works fine.

    Ad 1) thanks, will try
Ad 2-3) I’m using WooCommerce polylang offers 3 options
    – The language is set from content
    – The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks
    – The language is set from the subdomain name in pretty permalinks
The first option works, but is not good because of SEO. Second I’m using now, but both for Czech and English language shows English HOME (will try support for 1) to split) an on all WooCommerce pages. I have installed czech WooCommerce language pack, WordPress identified and installed it, but there is no change after swithing to Czech language. Even changing default language to Czech hasn’t changed anything!

Use qTranslate X that is a better translation plugin than polylang.
