• I saw this issue mentioned in a topic from more than 2 years ago.
At that time it was not easily possible to test the fallback sending possibility.

It still seems not to been have implemented.
In my opinion it should be an essential to test both main and fallback if you are trying to send a test email.

Can this please on the list for the developers to implement?
    thanks.

    Hello @mahyulan

    Hope you are doing well.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Currently, there is no straightforward way to test the fallback setup except messing the main configuration and sending test emails. However, I’m excited to share that we are actively working on an enhanced feature that will streamline this process. Our development team is building a “Socket setup” for the fallback configuration, mirroring the main configuration setup. This new feature will allow users to set up fallback connections using a guided wizard and test them via a “Send Test Email” function, similar to what is available for the primary configuration currently.

These features are currently under development, and we plan to release a Beta version soon. If you’re interested in testing the Beta do let us know.

Here’s a short video of the planned interface. Users will be able to select, previously configured connections as either Primary or Fallback directly from the Fallback tab within the Post SMTP settings. This will simplify managing different connections and ensure seamless switching between primary and fallback options.

We look forward to bringing these features to you and would love your involvement in testing and feedback. Please let us know if you’d be interested in trying the Beta version when it’s ready.

    Warm regards,
    Support Team – WP Experts
