How to tell or prompt customers to create an account before they review a vendor

    I would like to know how to add a note for the users who want to give feedback to the shop in terms of reviews and ratings but have not signed up in order to do so. Especially when they use the links in the email to give feedback. maybe just to point out i dont want to force them to signup when they are making thier order.

    @kabengwa As you already know, the default flow of WC Marketplace let you add review when you are logged in.

    But, WC Marketplace is flexible enough to let you modify it according to your need. So, in order to allow users to leave vendor reviews without logging in.
    – You have to customize the core plugin.

    You can contact your developer or if you want us to do this please reach us through our forum.

    We also have this in our list to add this feature in our future update but sharing any ETA at this moment is not possible.

    I don’t think u got what I was trying to mean. I want the users to review only after creating an account, that is fine. However, when a customer makes an order and an email is sent to him there is a link for the user to rate or give feedback to the vendor in terms of a review. Now when the user clicks on it, he/she is taken to the review page however when they are not signed in, they cannot review and yet there are no instructions to help them know what to do first. I can add a note but is it possible to directly detect if they are not signed in and then just take them to the sign in/sign up page before the review page?

    @kabengwa We get the workflow here:
    – the user will get the mail containing the order as well as a link to rate/review the vendor
    – By default, the user will be taken to the review page

    what you want to do:

    – after clicking on the link, this will check whether the user is logged in or not.

    – If not, this will take the user to a sign in/sign up page.

    @kabengwa as this is not a default flow of WC Marketplace, you can defiantly customize the core plugin and achieve this desirable.

    i decided to just add a link and some information on what the user should do in order to give feedback. it only appears when the user is not logged in.
