• How to target index.php with menu link

Here’s the problem I’m having. I’m working on some Youtube WordPress tutorials and I have created a number of pages including a page called “Home” that I have set the template to the default template. I have “Loop” placed at the top of that page and it’s entirely possible that the loop is broken. But that’s really not the point at least I don’t think it is.

The point is that if I point my browser to localhost/wordpress it will give me the default wordpress start page complete with all 6 of my dummy post. How ever there appears to be no option to set this page as a menu item. I actually have 5 pages to choose from “Menus” in the Dashboard. I need a menu item that points to; I’m guessing index.php

As I noted at first I did setup a “Home “ page with a loop which is apparently broken because it only list like one post and not the whole list of post. I’ve also made an empty page called “Blog” and set “Template” to “Default Template” but the only way I can get to the Default WordPress “Front Page Displays” . “Your latest posts’ is to target it in the browser i.e. localhost/wordpress/

How can I make a menu item that points to the default my latest post page?
