how to take followers with you when moving away from wordpress.com hosting?

My blog currently is hosted on the basic free plan of wordpress.com.
I want to move it to be hosted on bluehost.com sooner or later and wonder how I can take my followers with me.Most of them are users of wordpress.com themselves and follow me through their wordpress.com account (and I don’t think there is any access to their emails if I am not mistaken)
So my question would be whether there is any known method to take your wordpress.com followers with you once moving your blog to a different hosting solution.
