How to sync users in 2 sites

I have 2 wp sites. In site A i want people to be able to subscribe to a membership, pay and create a user with simple membership. But then I want them to go to site B to be able to see the restricted content, also with simple membership.
For that I need to be able to sync the users, their user roles and their membership status.

I have been investigating and found the Automator WP and the Uncanny Automator tools, that may work for doing this kind of stuff. But sadly simple membership isn’t associated with this plugins, they dont seem to be compatible.
I am wondering if there is another way of doing it, maybe via webhoocks, or api, I dont know…. I am not a coder, nut I can experiment a little. I hope someone can help me figure this out.
