How to sync user meta field with contact custom field

Are you trying to use non-hubspot forms here for these custom fields? You can take a look at this “Mapping non-HubSpot form fields and HubSpot properties” guide from our knowledge base.

If this is not what you are looking for, could you please share an example of the fields you are trying to map.

@sasharma on user register this plugin automatic sync users into contacts. I need to know how can we map user meta field to contact object’s custom field.

Is this user registering through a form submission? If yes, could I get a url to that page where they are registering from?

@sasharma assume it’s core registration form in frontend, we added some extra fields in the registration and saved those as custom meta (user meta) in user table. How can we sync this meta fields with hubspot’s contact’s custom field? (Hope my question is clear)

@manchumahara for saving your extra form fields you will need to make sure that name of the input field in your form matches with the HubSpot contact’s custom field. Also make sure you have created a custom contact property on HubSpot using this guide.
You can checkout this “Mapping non-HubSpot form fields and HubSpot properties” guide for knowing more about how the name matching works.

If the input field name can’t be made same as the contact custom field, then I would advise you to use our API integration for contacts and update your contacts that way.
