How to switch from a Blogger domain to WordPress domain – please help!

  • Before you say anything, I’ve searched in Google and have yet to find the answer I’m looking for.

    Let me start by saying I’m a fairly broke college student. I want to switch from Blogger to WordPress, that’s fairly self-explanatory. I already paid for a domain through Blogger but am not sure what I need to do first to switch to WordPress. Is it more expensive to go through WordPress? I paid $10/year for mine over at Blogger. Is it a lot of hefty work?

  • Do you want to switch to WordPress.com or www.remarpro.com? If you want to switch to www.remarpro.com, you’ll have to pay for hosting, which will probably cost more than $10/year.

    I switched my blog from Blogger to www.remarpro.com a couple years ago. I remember it was pretty simple. There was a way to export the data from Blogger to a file and then import it to WordPress. Try Googling around for “Blogger export data” and “WordPress import data.”
