Hi, I want to use the Post with Sidebar as default post type. Is there a way to switch?

It says they can be changed manually. If you go to each post, and on the right at the template, you can change from single to the post with sidebar. I was not able to make it default. I think every post has to be changed. I have over 650 posts. So will take awhile. I hope it can be changed to default, but I think that is what they mean by manually.

The default template for posts is the “Single Posts” template. If you edit this template to include a sidebar, then all new (and present) posts will have the sidebar by default. (You can edit the Single Posts template to replicate the “look and feel” of the Page with Sidebar template, by copying the contents of the “List View” blocks/patterns.)

“Appearance” > “Editor” . “Templates” > “Single Posts” > edit the template

    I thought about that, too.
Since I already spent time edited the single post with sidebar, and so I don’t want to do that all over again with Sigle Post.

Great to know that I can copy-paste the sidebar post, will try that. Thanks!
