• Hi John
Fantastic plugin: so useful for my debugging!

I disabled access to wp-admin / wp-login for all except administrators. When I use user-switching I cannot revert back to my regular account as I am no longer able to access wp-admin.

A few weeks ago I had the link the revert back at the bottom of every page: this is no longer the case. That link is gone to drink a margarita watching a Mexican sunset.
So is there another way I can switch back or make that link come back to its senses and return where its rightful place is? (can’t blame him, Mexican margaritas are irresistable)

    Thanks!

    Hi xberg,

How are you blocking access to wp-login?

There should be a Switch Back link in the admin toolbar in the user profile menu on the right hand side. If the admin toolbar is hidden then there should be a Switch Back link in the footer of your site, you might want to check to see if it’s being covered up by another element on the page.

I see a “switch back” link at the bottom of a page after switching to a WooCommerce “Customer”, and was greeted with an empty page with “Cannot Switch Users” as the only words on the page.

I essentially had to log out, go back to the wp-admin screen and log in again.

Would you expect the switch back link to work from an account that has essentially few capabilities.
