How to swipe from post to post?

I’m using 2012 child theme where I have a link at the bottom of the page for the next/previous post. However I want to be able to swipe left or right to each article, just like many news apps (The Guardian or the BBC being good examples).

I think my search criteria is wrong because I’m not finding many plugins that allow for this.

Anyone use a simple ‘add swipe navigation when on smartphone/tablet’ plugin?
