I’m very frustrated with VCita customer support through LiveSite, have gone 3 rounds with support asking the same question to no avail – and now I have come to the plugin forums in the hopes someone here might actually read my question. My question is this – I’d like to change the font on the scheduler widget. NOT the Livesite Floating widget, but the one that displays when you take the scheduler shortcode and insert it in a page. I have tried to make a custom “theme” in the Vcita customization area – I specified the font of my choice and the widget is still rendering in Arial (default.) Does anyone know a way to either add custom CSS to override the font or tweak additional customization to affect the SCHEDULER, NOT the floating widget?

And now for a rant: Yes the VCita LiveSite support folk are responsive, always get back to me within one business day, however they seem to not even be reading my question before copying and pasting useless instructions for accomplishing tasks only tangentially related to my question. I’ve gone 3 rounds with support trying to find answers in how I can change the font on the SCHEDULER widget, and have gotten 3 different responses on how to style the LiveSite floating widget. These are DIFFERENT WIDGETS – they look and act differently even if they get users to the same place. Even if they aren’t completely different and I’m misunderstanding the basic structure of the plugin’s widget, no one is answering my question thoroughly enough to actually solve my problem. Yet every support response is marked as “solved” before I can even respond. This is driving me up a wall .

Update: I even downloaded the style.css file out of the VCita plugin file directory on my host server and changed every font-family attribute, removing every instance of Arial, replacing it with my preferred font Open Sans. Uploaded it to my host server in the Vcita scheduler directory, overwriting the plugin’s stylesheet, and the widget STILL renders text in Arial (while the rest of my site renders in Open Sans perfectly.) Why, how, I do not know.

Oh, and my site is https://chefmelissagellert.com if you want to see for yourself.

We apologize for the frustration! It doesn’t appear the widget is active on your site and unfortunately the customization we offer does not extend to the font on the embedded widgets. We certainly recommend requesting this type of customization from our feature request forum that you can find here: https://support.vcita.com/forums/21163531-Features-Requests
