    I just noticed that there’s a setting in Stripe, found here:

    So I can apparently toggle to turn off emails for successful payments. It says “This setting is ignored when you create a payment in the API and provide the receipt_email parameter.”

    So I’m assuming something in WC is designed using the API to turn off this setting. For some reason, my latest order sent both a WC email AND a Stripe “successful payment” email, as well.

    I’m still wondering if there’s a setting in WC that I need to switch off, to prevent Stripe from sending that email receipt.

    You’re right that with the API, an email is not sent from Stripe for payments with WooCommerce. There is no setting to turn off in Stripe for WooCommerce if you are using our plugin. If you still need help with this issue, please make a post in the forum for the payment gateway.

    Did you find the parameter and just deleted it? I’m a novice at this. If yes, where do I find the receipt_email parameter in the API to delete?

    Hi @jord8on. I just fixed this, thanks to guidance from [email protected]. This is how to do it from the WordPress Dashboard:
    “If you navigate to your Woocommerce email settings page and scroll down you will see an option to disable the stripe email confirmation.”
