• Hey there,

Would be very grateful if someone could give me any pointers:

The homepage of my site does not require a scroll bar on most devices. Subsequent pages are of great length, thus a scroll bar appears.

This alters the “center” of the page, shifting the content 5mm to the left.

How can I prevent this? Is there a way to redefine how the content centers?

    Thanks for your time.

  • Do you have a link to your site to see where/what exactly is happening? It would help troubleshoot the issue your encountering a little easier?

Sure it’s https://andrewgoldspink.com – whereas https://andrewgoldspink.com/emmawatson (for example) shoves everything to the left.

The appearance of the scroll bar (where before it wasn’t necessary) changes how “center” is defined – just wondering if there’s some CSS /html to make this absolute – it happens in Chrome, Safari and Opera, not on iOS as it doesn’t have a typical scroll bar.

    Thanks for your help.
