How to stop popup SPAM

Is this on your own host account if so did install any popup plugin if not then may be your wordpress is hacked.

I looked through the code on each page and I found this at the bottom of each page:

<script type=”text/javascript”>username=”pirmax”</script><script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://www.cpx24.com/ad1.js”></script&gt;

I located this in the footer.php

I deleted and resaved the file. The popups are now gone.

I am changing my passwords ??

I have the same problem currently…;_;

Could you let me know which files you found the codes of spam in?
