• This bit of fanciness really makes it difficult to have visitors read important information prior to filling out the registration form.

On my site I have some specific details that require a couple paragraphs before the register form shortcode. The onload focus scrolls visitors’ browsers right past that information.

IMO, using onload focus on this form is just “fluff”. People don’t have any trouble clicking on a form field to fill it out.

How do I disable the onload focus for the registration form?

Thanks for your very handy plugin ??

  • Hi.
You could remove lines 496-499 from wp-content\plugins\theme-my-login\includes\class-theme-my-login.php .

I don’t really want to hack the code, that’s not fun for updates ??

I’d like to see this feature eliminated or made an option.

Makes sense in that case. Adding an option for this in the admin panel would be a good solution.
