  • Hi cacabe,

The iTSec plugin UI includes a NOTIFICATIONS menu option which allows you to disable any type of email send by the plugin.

By default the NOTIFICATIONS menu option will take you to the Notification Center page which only allows you to set the From Email and Default Recipients fields.

Depending on the device you are working from you may need to click/tab on the hamburger button icon to see all email type sub menu entries under the NOTIFICATIONS menu.

There is definately some room for improvement regarding the UI here.

Unfortunately there is no single switch to turn off all emails.

+++++ To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes +++++

thank you but yes, your IU is annoying, I can only find

    Default Recipients

    (and I cannot select NONE)

but nowhere a list of emails that can be sent or not.

I cannot find this AT ALL, I am on computer, there is no hamburger menu:

Any more help ? thank you.

First of all, it’s not my UI.

Like indicated in my previous post, I’m not iThemes. I’m just providing community support, having fun and learning new stuff along the way.

    -###-

When working from a computer you probably don’t see the hamburger icon (instead you’ll see the iThemes Security logo at the top op the menu). But after clicking on the NOTIFICATIONS menu option you can probably see (depending on certain features enabled or not) the following submenu options:

    • Security Digest
    • Site Lockouts
    • Database Backups
    • File Change

It’s not a complete list. And again some of these will only show up when certain plugin features are enabled.

For instance “Database Backups” will only show up if you have enabled the Database Backups feature.

”File Change” will only show up if you have enabled the File Change feature.

I think Security Digest and Site Lockouts are always displayed.

For an example have a look at this iTSec Pro screenshot.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi cacabe,

Did my previous post help you locate the list of emails and disable them?

In case you require no further assistance pleas mark this topic as “Resolved”.

Thanks for this, I have only recently had to put this plugin on several sites, and I need to pare down the number of emails I get, so this is helpful to me.
