How to specify sitetitle on start page

  • I do have the problem, that on my start page the title is not just the title of the site. There is also the title of my last blog entry. How can I avoid that? On my start page, I would like to have only the site title, which is Hundeerziehung und Kommandos.

  • Sorry mods: screwed up the formatting somehow. The list should have 3 “li”s but I must have cut and pasted once too often. Sorry!

    I used no. 1, no changes, because I wanted the menu, slider, three features and a footer. And I did not show sidebars on that page.

    If I had to create my own home page, I have no idea how to show the featured pages. So I did not try that.

    I leave it like it is for the moment. Thanks again for your help. You gave me some inputs for the next time.

    If you create a home page, Customizr still does the rest: the slider, fancy featured pages etc. All it does in addition is pick up the text from your page. And you can select the page to have no sidebars, of course.

    I’m not saying it will solve your title problems, but it may solve them.

    That’s what I’ve done from the beginning. I let customizr do his job. I’ve read the help in detail.

    Unfortunately I cannot invest more time. Thanks for your kind help.
