How to sort same day events by beginning time

    Hello!

    That documentation is for the views that come with The Events Calendar, not this plugin (The Events Calendar Shortcode). If you are using [ecs-list-events] could you share the shortcode you are currently using?

    Try adding key=”start date”:

    [ecs-list-events key='start date' cat='1advent' excerpt='250' contentorder='date, title, excerpt, ' limit='50']

    Note that the ordering is now by the start date by default!
