How to sort porfolio mages

  • Can I sort them by tag, not category? Not looking for drag and drop because client will be updating and need an automatic sorting option. Thanks!

  • I’m not sure what you mean? Are you sorting the featured images from portfolio posts or images in a post?

    If you are sorting the images in the portfolios,
    Do the images have tags? The plugin that you are using should provide you with shortcode that allows you to sort by tag.

    Thanks for responding Nomadcoder! I would like to sort by tag. I have a website that my client is going to update with rental properties (category). He wants users to be able to sort them by State (tag) on the frontend UI. By default they sort by date which will not work. I am using the Divi theme which uses Project post types to hold portfolios of properties, of which hold a gallery of property images . Does that make sense? Do you have a plugin that does this?

    Yes, I am sorting featured images from what Divi calls a ‘Project’ post type.
