How to sort languages

  • Hi,

    Is there any solution to sort languages by custom? I checked the option provided in the plugin and the questions proposed in the forum but only found the solution to sort by the description. However, I would like to set custom order in order to fit my needs. Would it be possible for you to help me on this?

    There is sorting by description or language code:

    “The output can be sorted by the values that are set in the Description field. The sorting will be by language code otherwise.”

    Some developers used the blog collection object to customize the output.

    I tested the sorting by description and language code. However, this is not the sorting I want. Would it be possible to teach me how to use blog collection object to customize the output?

    I have total 3 languages. The following are the descriptions and current sorting.

    English
    日本語(Japanese)
    简体中文(Simplified Chinese)

    I would like to change the sorting as below.

    日本語(Japanese)
    English
    简体中文(Simplified Chinese)

    Is there any suggestion? Can I use hook to add the order to each < li >?
