How to skip page optimization for logged-in users

    Cache: caching for logged-in users turned off.

    Excludes: do not cache query string “nocache” + administrator role excluded.

    The plugins shows and uncached, but optimized pages when I’m logged in as an administrator and/or adding ?nocache to the page URL.

    After all caches are cleared, the page is re-optimized.

    Side note: the comments at the bottom seem to use different time zone (optimization uses GMT and caching (uncaching) uses my local time zone), although the time zone is not specified.

    the one at bottom , Role excludes , I think this is what you are looking for.

    Like I said, Administrator was already excluded, and the page was server “uncached”, but not unoptimized.

    It’s actually not clear what “exclude” means in this context, when the global setting to ignore users is set. When I check “Administrator”, does the plugin serve administrators pages that are excluded from caching or excluded from being ignored?

    Hi @galbaras, the Exclude Settings is just for excluding cache, if you wish to check a non-optimized version, please add LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm query string at the end of the URL.

    Why not just add an option to exclude optimization? Seems like an easy thing, given there’s already code for doing it when a query string is present.

    I’m sorry if I misunderstood the question , but isn’t this option “Role Excludes” to exclude the certain role/user from page optimization ?

    like you can force admin or editor to view un-optimized page, while guest or normal user to view optimized page.

    There are 2 “role excludes” , one in tab 4 [Exclude] , which is “do not cache” , which means , not caching page, but optimizing the page.

    another one, I am talking about , is in tab 6 [Tuning] , which is “optimization exclude” , which means , caching the page, but not optimizing it.
